Privacy Policy

Last updated October 29, 2026

This policy explains what we collect when you use WaiverTrack TX, why we collect it, and what control you have over it. It covers both account holders and the people who sign waivers you send.

1. What we collect

Account information: name, email address, company name, and role. Billing information is handled by Stripe; we do not store card numbers.

Project and payment data you enter: projects, parties, payment amounts, waiver details, and the documents you generate or upload.

Signature records: signer name, email, IP address, browser information, timestamps, and a cryptographic hash of each completed document.

Usage data: pages visited in the app and actions taken, used to keep the product working and to improve it.

2. Why we collect it

To generate waivers, route signature requests, send reminders, and keep an audit trail you can rely on in a dispute.

To bill your subscription, prevent abuse, and meet legal and tax obligations.

3. Signers who are not account holders

When you send a waiver for signature, we collect the recipient's name and email address so they can sign and so both sides have a record. Recipients do not need an account.

Signature links expire and can be locked after repeated failed access codes. Signers can ask you to resend or to correct their details.

4. Who can see your data

Your organization's members see your organization's data according to the permissions an administrator assigns. Access is enforced on the server for every request.

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with the processors needed to run the service, such as hosting, email delivery, and Stripe for payments.

5. Cookies and local storage

We use local storage for session handling and to remember interface preferences such as a dismissed announcement. We do not use third-party advertising cookies in the app.

6. Retention

Signed waiver packets, completion certificates, and audit events are retained while your organization is active because they are the record of a legal release.

If you close your account, we keep records as long as needed for legal, tax, and dispute purposes, then delete or anonymize them.

7. Security

Data is transmitted over TLS and stored with access controls scoped to your organization. Signature documents are stored privately and served through short-lived signed links.

No system is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a breach affecting your data, we will notify affected account administrators.

8. Your choices

You can update profile details, change notification preferences, export records your plan includes, and close your account.

You can request a copy of your personal information or ask us to correct it by contacting support from your account.

9. Children

The service is for construction businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect or how we use it, we will notify account administrators before the change takes effect.
